Recycled Newbie checking in

Been away from the shooting side,as a competitor) for 20 years or so. Just retired from the Army after 40+ years, including 9 years as a Squid, and intend to get back into the game. For the last 10 years I have been the NCOIC of the Small Arms Training Team, Arkansas Army National Guard. Without starting a small war, the Army needs a lot of work in the marksmanship arena. Marksmanship is just not a priority. Enough said.
I've been lurking in this site and to say that I'm overwhelmed with the changes in the shooting community is an understatement. Ain't technology amazing!!!

Jeez, I can't believe no one has replied to this are at least welcomed you! I used to use this forum a lot about 6 years ago, but stopped until just a month ago. I got retired and just got too busy for the internet! <g>

Anyway, welcome, I'm also retired military, 27 years with the USN,r) flying around in P3s looking for submarines. Been enjoying shooting again. My grandson is just starting, so that has re-newed my interest again.
