Recommend a good brake for 22-250

I know, not much recoil already. I have a customer with a tapered heavy barrel in 22-250 factory 700. He is having trouble keeping target in scope during "recoil". He is thinking of buying a suppressor for it, he has other cans as well. He is not concerned with the noise as this is for shooting prairie dogs and wears ear protection when doing this. We thought a brake would mitigate recoil more than a can. Recommend me a brake that would work best for this application.
Muzzle diameter is .830", so plan on threading 5/8-24. One piece brake is fine as I can time it when threading muzzle.
Thoughts?

+1 on the Harrells. No timing required with a symmetrical spiral brake and you can cut the OD to blend with the barrel. Here is an example of a recent build of mine. Also, the ID can be bored to within .020” of the bullet OD which I believe is where, in part, the efficiency gains are achieved with this design. Here is a link to a promo for the shop’s custom brake service.

I've found the Area 419 Hellfire to be very effective. It does direct the blast rearward, so I recommend doubling up in the ear pro.

I'm liking the way the Hawkins ST brake works, but haven't tried it yet.

I need to buy a brake too. I've looked at Harrells, Ross, and MB&M, same style brake on all three.

Is there something about the MB&M brake that makes worth twice as much as the other two?
Well they work better than the harrels. They used to be about half the price of the others

I have found the side discharge brakes to be far superior to the radial brakes in recoil reduction also...

Tony.
All they do is make it louder. If a brake doesnt have a chamber, then the end bored a bit over bullet dia with gas ports angled back they do not work. Its simple physics

I use these self timing brakes and get them in 30 cal for the 6.5. It gives you room for carbon build up without much recoil compromise.
.

Instead of a brake...may want to look at stock/rest setup. If the stock drops in rear during recoil... Gonna be really hard to see any hits regardless of what brake you use. Get it tracking straight back would be my priority.

I had already committed for a $95 MBM brake before I looked at the Harrells and Ross brakes. I was hoping you had some information that would make me think I hadn't wasted 50 bucks.

Oh well, I've occasionally wasted more than that.
