Recknagel picatinny rail for Sako 75

Anyone ever used one of these ? Buddy has a Beautiful little Sako 75 in .308 ,never been shot and he wants to set it up to shoot. He generally needs his scopes pust a bit more forward compared to most so wanted to get some kind pic rail vs trying to run with the factory rings, this looked to be the most cost effective option for something that's just going to be popping deer and things inside of 500yd.

Haven't used one of those, but have used some Recknagel stuff, swingaway mounts, peeps, good products. They're not a chinese cheapie outfit, they supply to the mfgrs all thru EU, incl the high end ones.

I mounted a contessa rail with a very similar design on a friends sako 85.

It was considerably higher than the Near Mfg rails on my Sako 75

They make quality stuff. My Mauser M12 came with a Recknagel 20MOA rail. I was impressed with build quality. It could be compared to Badger Ordnance in the U.S.

If looking for other rail vendors for the Sako, check out Near Manufacturing:

Back when I put the scope on mine, near was all you could get for the big Sako's. never been sorry

I have used a mount identical to this mount don’t think it was this brand but I used it on a sako ppc and it has been working great
