Reciever/Factory BM Problem

Hello everyone, I ran into this problem today and don't know what to do. While putting this rifle togather I found that the reciever didn't have a lip on the bottom to catch the factory follower. I looked at another reciever I had and it has a lip on the bottom on it to catch the follower. I have encluded pictures of both reciever's. Other than installing a DBM on this reciever is there anything else I can do.

Was the action from a factory DM rifle? They were produced with no feed lips.

I am afraid it will only work with factory DM bottom metal or an aftermarket AI style magazine system. You will probably be able to trade it with someone if you really want a standard ADL/BDL magazine.

It looks like it was a factory DM. I found one and will see if it works.
