Rechambering a 6mm Tubb 2000 Barrel

Is there enough meat on a stock Schnieder 6XC barrel supplied with a Tubb 2000 to safely rechamber it to fit a Remington 700 action? His chamber of choice right now is 6mm Rem if that's possible.

I'm not a gunsmith; I have a barrel someone wishes to use to replace a factory .243 barrel but I don't want to help someone do something that's not safe.
