Rebuilding the Atlas

I decided to change from the 6BRA to the 6BR. Blake bbl, Atlas action, Bix two stage trigger. The fella that chambered the bbl, used a laser to etch it. Jason Avila made the stock. He used blue prints to inlet it and the fit is perfect! I will have Zack in Richmond Va pillar and bed it. Send it to Brett for clear paint.

I dig the band saw, I have a Powermatic 66 table saw but got such a good deal on a bandsaw I wound up with 2 Delta 14 inch saws. After I retired a gave one to my friend at church. Love the rifle, but i guess it takes a marine to shoot a pink rifle?

My mind jumped to the pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness. Regardless, good looking rifle and I like the color. I bet it’s going to be a deep and vibrant color when clearcoated.

Yea I have not been so on top of it to remember pink being the key to breast cancer awareness. I was in Okeechobee a few years back on the weekend of the big rodeo and saw a cowboy with a pink shirt and it never dawned on me why.

it's the reason i chose Pink.. cuz when a person "thinks" about cancer.. the first color that comes to mind..

Plus it don't hurt either.. that i just happen to like the color pink too.. i am confident enough to wear it and use it!
