Rebarrel Marlin XL7 25-06

I would like to rebarrel this rifle from a sporter to a varmint contour. This rifle has a factory barrel nut, is it the same thread as a Savage? If not, can someone tell me what the tenon dimension is.

Yes same , but the depth from bolt nose to bolt face may be different. The barrel chamber depth should always be checked and headspace set with headspace gauges .
