Reasonable Case for Lenzi rest

AndrewB

$65.00 hard case. I searched forever to find something that was not $300. This one seems to be really good so far.

Pluck and pull foam. Room for the rest and the handle. Super easy to deal with.

Public service announcement. I am in no way affiliated with Newark - just took forever to find a reasonably priced, good hard case to transport my painfully expensive Lenzi rest. Thought I would share.

Here's another option. A little more pricey but water and dust proof as well as very lightweight.
Not to mention it fits the rest without having to disassemble it.

The case is waterproof and dust proof and came with the foam, so the rest won’t rattle around in it. I did not even try to put the rest in the case with the joystick on it. Not a big deal to take it off. A more compact case is more important to me. Definitely not very lightweight.

Would be nice if the rest was shipped in a nice case. I’ve owned sebs and Sinclair varmints and Loh’s and a couple of Farley‘s and the Lenzi but none of them have ever been shipped with a case.

For the money you have into that Lenzi. It should have come with
a decent case. My T-Rex came shipped with a real nice hard case.
Yes Fuj. We can argue about what should be. The fact is it does not come with a hard case. So we can look for solutions, which I believe was the purpose of the thread. I’m not going to argue about what it should be. I wanted a Lenzi not a T-Rex. I’m glad you like your rest and that it came with a nice hard case.

Most of time I see Pelican cases. It one thing if you are looking for a case just to carry your rest back and forth to the range. If you plan on flying to matches, do yourself a favor and buy a Pelican or SKB. When you factor in the cost of a case, do not over look the cost of the content it protecting. Not to mention how long you had to wait for a new replacement.

Other considerations you can also factor in travel, hotel, food, rental car, and other expenses of traveling to your match if your rest did become damaged while traveling. The contents always cost much more than the case itself, do not short change yourself.

yes the T-REX comes with a case for a 150.00 upcharge just to be correct. That's what Rod charges for the hard case.
