Wherever you buy it, be sure it's like the Steve Earl model -- quite thick at the top where the sight mounts. Most of the 513T's had the thinner mount for the smaller (with less windage adjustment) Mod. 75 rear sight. Redfield made both bases and since the 513T was a medium grade target rifle (compared to the Ans. 54, Win. 52 & 40X), most owners used the less expensive Mod. 75. The thicker base centers the longer Red. Int'l., Olympic and Palma windage arms properly on the smaller receiver of the 513. Plus the 2 bases have different size threads for the sight attaching screw, and the bar at the top with these holes are different dimensions.have a friend that needs rear sight base so he can install redfield International sight on a Remington 513
Steve Earl has them but thought I might see if someone has one on the shelf Thanks!!
