Rear bags for BR 600/1k

Maybe I can share some FTR knowledge.

You need to match your bag to you. Height is important. I have gone from a "standard" bag to a lower one, to suit the "fit" of the rifle.

The width between the ears should match your rifle. Usually 5/8' I use 3/4' I fill the ears until they support the rifle

The filling is important. I use ordinary "play" sand from a local builders supply - and I pack it in a vibrate it - I'm not a bag squeezer, as I use a Joy Pod. I also use a steel plate under the bag, just for ridgidity.

My preference is for SEB bags. Theres' likely no wrong answer - I'm sure that all the manufacturers make good bags - quite a few friends have gone to Dima. Hope it helps.

It really depends on your application and personal fit. You cant say the Dima benchrest rear bag
is the right one for you. There is no short cut here ya gotta try and see what fits right for you.
The rifle your using the game your playing all make a difference in your application.
Im shooting F-Class so its a different application, but give it a try.
