Rear Bag

A couple things I've observed
1. Edgewood bags are costlier
2. Edgewood bags require filling
3. I've seen a few Edgewood bags tear open that had to be stitched back together
4. Edgewood bag ears seem limited in length
Other than that the Gater bag does have a comfortable shape

Lenzi rear bag that PMA tool sells is very nice . I retired my edgewood and protector bag after I bought the lenzi .

Just bought a Lenzi LR rear bag to supplement my Edgewood. Still in the process of filling it up, but I must say as nice as the Edgewood is as far as construction quality, the Lenzi trumps it. Will put it to the test in a couple of weeks time.

one of the improvements I made in bag filling is to find a bubble tea place around where you live. they have straws that are 2-3 the diameter of a regular straw. if you cut the end of the straw at a 45 degree angle, you can get a LOT of sand in a bag fast. then shake and top off. its free(except for the tea) and works really well.

I just used a six inch piece of thin wall 3/8" PVC tubing. It will insert into the fill tightly. Great for removing sand and I just taped a plastic funnel to the tube to fill.
