Funny you should ask http://benchrest.com/showthread.php?86096-Having-your-rear-bag-move-is-really-hard-on-tracking

AR Guy,

I would look for some of that industrial grade "Non-Skid" tape, the sand paper like stuff we put on slippery surfaces like airplane wings, skateboards, nerf bars..... And put a couple of pieces on the bottom. Peel off when you dont want it....

K.I.S.S. Principal works good for me.. ;)

I found my Edgewood rear bag moves around less than my Protector DR bag. The DR is bulkier and easier to nudge out of position accidently. If I get too much slippage from either bag there are a few products I am going to try on the bottom of the bag. One is belt dressing from an auto supply and another is base binder for Nordic skiis.
I have been using anti-skid shelf paper with success but it is a bit of a bother to use.

I have the flat hard based protector bags and have found that a coat of rubber cement on the bottom works well on concrete benches while a fairly rough grit sandpaper stuck on with rubber cement works better on a wood topped bench. The rubber cement stays in place very well but can be peeled off when dirty or the sandpaper is worn smooth.

Bag rings don't do anything for these bags as they don't rock in the first place...............sounds like the rifle may not be moving easily on the bag?

this is my only br format rifle i have as in a benchrest stock...it is a masterclass 1000yd stock.
i THINK it moves well..but ya never know.....
