Reamer

I decided to buy my own reamer in the 22 CM will be running the 75 edlm & 80.5 Berger bullets was thinking about .120 freebore does that sound right what are you guys running with that range of bullets?

It’s interesting that most reamers are around .080-.090”

But I suppose it won’t take this cartridge long to lengthen that out lol

You shouldn't need .120 for either of those bullets. In the standard chamber (w/ ~.081 fb), both of those bullets will need to be seated out a ways to touch the lands.

Going to .120 would be more appropriate for the 90 VLD's or Hornady 88's.

Unless you want to seat longer, in which case, going to .120 is fine.

Ok thanks guys just wanted some opinions .

Ok thanks so does the Berger 80 .5 ?

Yes. Standard would be fine.

I don't shoot the 22 Creedmoor personally or I would have already made a split neck case and done some seating of bullets to show where they sit in the neck.

But my 22XC reamer is 90 free bore and is similar. So, basically you would be fine as long as you're not shooting the '90s or '88s with older brass that has formed a donut.

I would suggest that you shoot the 75 ELDM or 80 ELDM for more budget friendly shooting. And then the 80.5 Berger is a great choice for really testing how small it will shoot.
