Reamer holder/pusher

Here are a few pics of dad’s reamer holder/pusher set up. I had posted in earlier thread about his “bolt holding fixture” that I’d share when I got the chance.

Right or wrong we used a die holder mid way on the reamer and pushed with a dead center on the tail stock. A light grip on the die holder while resting a hand on the carriage you can feel the reamer cutting beautifully.

This pusher is mounted to a center in the tail stock and the main advantage is, to my limited understanding, is it almost acts as a rigid reamer holder as the part the reamer holder sits against is 2 piece with a swashplate and 4 adjusting screws, so you can dial it in, in multiple axis’s.

That's very cool, Creative, Sounds like that would work great.
