Really rough Lee FL die

I dont really shoot my 6.5CM very often but, shot about 50 recently once I bought some small primer Lapua brass. Shot fantastic out to 800 yards.
So, upon measuring using my comparator to reload those 50 I was at 1.555 so, I decide to FL size and bump the shoulder too 1.554.
Upon doing so, I noticed my Lapua brass was really being marred by the die just below the shoulder to case junction (or appeared to be). It really left some pressue marks and serious shine to that general area. So, just to see if the old Hornady brass would show the same marks I did one piece.
It wasnt as bad as the Lapua (which looked worse). I didnt think of posting a pic. prior to tumbling the Lapua which after tumbling that marred area looked like normal.
You could really hear the die dragging that area. Yes, the cases where lubed well with Imperial Sizing wax.
Granted the barrel on my 6.5CM is a factory Savage so, maybe it's just generous in the area below the shoulder. I noticed factory max SAAMI specs list 1.551 max.
Thoughts on this appreciated.
Below is a pic of the piece of Hornady brass after running it through the Lee FL die.

Btw, Im on the hunt for some Redding dies for the 6.5 and later that rifle will be getting a new barrel.

I would take a good close look at your chamber. Could be rough. Do you have access to a bore scope? dedogs
When I mean dragging not as if the brass was gouged or damaged by the chamber. The brass comes out of the chamber after firing looking like any other rifle I shoot (perfectly fine).

Thanks for everyones input.
