i am finally ready to start to build a 6 br. shot my cousins last wekend and wow finally convinced me. i just have no idea where to start. can anyone point me in the right direction my cousin is knowledgeable but i dont want anything screwed up. i have been pokeing around this sight for a few mmonths and most of you have done this before any ideas or pointing me in the right direction will help. thanks down2kill.

So many unanswered questions, don't know where to start, but here goes: What type of shooting? Walk around varmint hunting? Informal benchrest? Benchrest competition? What distances? 200 yds and less? Over 200 to around 500? Over 500? How much are you willing to spend? You could get your feet wet for around $800 plus a scope, or as much as several Thousand. Gotta get some basic information before any meaningful answers can follow.
