I have begun testing Ramshot Magnum in my 6.5x.284. I almost got a good charge weight. I predict that the sweet spot for the 140 bergers jamed 10 thousands will be in the 58-59 range...I ended yesterday's session at 58 and it was starting to come back together. I was approaching the 2950 fps.
Load was 2.486 ogive, 140 berger VLD molyed, lapua .290 inside neck turned brass, and Russian PMC primers. ES 30 on virgin brass. Once I ff and chamfer inside and out, primer pockets...flash holes I am thinking that 48.5 grains will be about right.
