I got a chance to get out an do some long range load testing with the 6MMSuperX and my gun seems to really like the H1000.
I have tried Sierra, Lapua and Berger all in the 105 class bullets so far. I don't have any 115s yet to try. Since I dropped my loads down, as you recommended, I have not lost any primer pockets. I have not been able to cronograph anything yet so I don't know for sure where I am on speed. I would guess in the 3050fps range.
I shot at 400 and 600yds this weekend. I had a quarting wind at from 6 to 8mph. All my 400yd groups were in the 1" to 1.6" range at 400yds for 3 shot groups. My 600yd groups were in the 2 to 3" range for 3 shot groups. I did shoot one 5 shot yesterday before I came home and it was a 3.2" group with 4 in a 1.5" with the flyer being in the direction of the wind.
My load is 46.5grs of H1000 with the 105 Lapua. My gun also seems to like a little jump. I have loaded everything mag. length because this is a tactical rifle. I did try some seated touching the rifling and my groups definatly opened up.
