RCBS X die ????

Ok so I spent hours and hours reading the posts from this site and credit 80% of my knowledge to you guys. I own an AR 15 with a 1:7 twist factory heavy match barrel that I have started reloading for. I understAnd it is not the most accurate setup but I want to approach my reloading for it as if it was so I can learn the proper methods and equipment to use so when I do get a better setup I am already doing it that way

So the question is, I originally bought the RCBS small base X size die for loading before I discovered this web site and the more accurate ways to reload so I was wondering If I should just get rid of this or if It can still be effective for my set up to make accurate rounds ?
I appreciate all the help I can get

I use an RCBS X-die for my AR and my 223 Palma gun. This last weekend I shot a 200-14x at 600 with the Palma gun. At least 6 of those shots hit the 3" spotter. This is using LC non-sorted brass, irons sights and a sling.
