RCBS warranty

I broke a part on my 30 year old scale and emailed RCBS about purchasing the part, a couple days later got email said covered by warranty will ship one to you. I should not complain but its going on 3 weeks now, just wondering if anyone else has waited that long,

Yes it took about that long for my cutters to arrive, but they were NO CHARGE. RCBS warranty is great!!

This like the third time I have used there warranty but never remember waiting this long.

I broke the balance beam on my 10-10. called rcbs and inquired about warranty. they said they never had a claim for a balance beam before. the man asked how did you brake the beam. I told him my elephant stepped on it. he laughed and said to ship the scale back and they would look at it. it was at 3-4 weeks and I got it back with a new beam and they calibrated the scale. all free and the scale was 10yrs old.

I pick up used RCBS Compitition Seater Dies and swap the guts around to make them into the caliber I'am after.
Called RCBS Customer Service and asked about "buying" the internal parts I needed to make the change. The Gal asked me if I was swapping parts (?) and I said yes. Her last statement was "Parts are on their way and there's no charge". Don't remember how long I waited for the parts but I do know, I'am not the only one wanting help from RCBS so waiting isn't a problem, no matter how long it takes.

I bought an old JR 2 press that needed a handle. I read in some forum somewhere that to put a new handle in the JR 2 press you needed a new toggle block as well as the new handle. When I contacted RCBS all they said was "Sorry we do not have any toggle blocks for that press any longer". What is in quotes is all the email said. I return emailed and asked if they had those parts for a JR 3 press. He then had me send my toggle in to be re threaded for the new style handles, which they did and sent it back with a new handle.
