l need some info on this RCBS cutter head does it use 7/16 X 20 tread? l have a chance to buy one at a very good price l need to know what the tread size is, l have a trimmer with a 7/16-20 female tread that l would mount it on.
Thanks lefty222

I can't measure mine right now but they fit my older RCBS trimmer.
l only have two trimmers one is a Forster w/.490 shaft cutter is built into the shaft, the other looks similar to the Forster but with no name Black anodized and w/.560 shaft and uses a screw in cutter with 7/16x 20 tread, so if you could measure the threads that would be a great help.

The RCBS 3-way cutter threads are 3/8x24. You can probably find a hydraulic adapter to match them up.

l thank you for for your reply, l will make it fit, l just ordered the cutter head for 223 it will also work for my 222 Rem. Mag, the trimmer shaft is not hardened l can chuck it in my lath drill and tap to 3/8x24, or look for make an adapter, something to do in in my work shop until it warms up some.

Once more thanks lefty
