RCBS Trim Pro 2 - Help

Got a new Trim Pro 2 with the universal chuck to hold cases, except I cannot get a case in. The rim is too thick on my 30-30 case and will not press into the holder. I removed the top screw, but do not see any adjustment for rim thickness.

Has anyone seen this before?

The handle that opens the chuck needs to be pressed down firmly. I have no problem inserting 308 based cases in mine. I do not think I have tried any 30-30 yet, but I can try one if I have a fired one.

Mine takes both .308 and Mosin-Nagant cases without issue . No thoughts as to why your having a issue . I did lube the ramp on the push-down handle when I first got it with white Lithium grease .

I finally did get a 30-30 case in - just had to use my man hands. The rebated rim cases work just fine, right now the 'ol 30-30 is the only one giving me fits.

I'll tally it up as a user error ?
