rcbs Trim mate for military brass

The crimp remover works best in the case prep station. If you have the case prep station also get the primer pocket cutter/reamer. I do both 5.56 and 7.62.

I have always used the loading press to prime and always had half of the primers seperate afer firing and depriming. I assume this is from crushing. With the cutter, primers are snug, good feel for the seat, primers always seat 1st try, only have 1 or 2 out of a hundred rds come apart, now.

For removing the crimp on mil brass, look at the Dillon bench tool built for that purpose. It swages rather than cuts the primer crimp. Much faster than cutting.
