rcbs dies vs redding neck dies

Cj8vet,
It is really hard to give any real comparison between the two dies. Reason being: If the rcbs die happens to be a great fit for your chamber and give the right neck tension you may get great groups, barely work your brass and get very low runout, how's that for a run-on sentence). The redding die allows you to adjust the neck tension if the groups aren't to your liking, and as long as the die is straight you may get great results from it.
Both companies put a lot into making their products as straight and as tight to tolerances as possible. If you want to take one more variable out of the equation you may want to try Harrel's or, if you have a custom chamber, you can talk to your smith about cutting you a die.
I have both the rcbs and redding for different guns/chamberings. I like them both, but they aren't like the custom dies I've handled.
Sorry I couldn't me more definitive. If I had to choose, I would go with a die that would allow me to adjust the neck tension.

I'll have to agree with Mike. It would be near impossible to give a true side by side accuracy comparison of handloads with the two dies. Personally, I use Redding type 's' match dies for most of my handloading and would not swap them out for RCBS or any other die except for maybe a custom die for a custom chamber. Just my opinion.
