RCBS customer service

On Saturday 12/09/06,I was resizing some .308 brass for my M1A.
Picked up an empty shell and started the resize process.
Sure enough I got a Beardan primed case, snapped off the decaping pin and bent the expander/decaping rod!
That stopped the resizing for a while. :,
Sent a email to RCBS and called it a day.
Got a reply Monday that the replacement part were on the way at "No Charge"! Got home today and sure enough the parts are here. RCBS has always come through and the customer service can't be beat!:thumb:

I have bent/broken a few RCBS parts and they have always provided the best customer service. Free of charge! How can you do better than that ??

I have had similar experience with RCBS. They have the best customer service in the business! They replaced the motor in a case vibrator for free after 7 years!

If it's an RCBS part that you are after email them direct, I needed some parts about a year ago and emailed to ask how much it would cost to be shipped to the UK, RCBS emailed back and said the parts were in the post FOC, I thought that was exceptional customer service.

Ditto here ! Sent e-mail regarding worn out part and RCBS guy said "no problem, will send it right out". Thanks RCBS.
Can't get much better than that.
Gary.

Seems like most of the "big name" reloading outfits are on top when it comes to customer service. I have only had dealings with RCBS so I can't compare. But if the others are anything like RCBS,:thumb::thumb:.
And if you need help, rcbs.tech@atk.com. Worked for me!

Heck, I can do one better. I had a RCBS casemaster that I had bought when they first came out. I used it some but bought a better concentricty gage so I put it in the closet and didn't see it for about 10 years. I finally decided that it needed a new home and sold it on ebay. When the guy received it, he said it was missing a couple of little parts,I couldn't remember what came with it) so I said no problem, I would order them from RCBS and send them to him. I contacted RCBS and explained the whole story and about me losing the parts and needed to order them. Not only did they replace them for free but they sent them to guy I sold it to. We were both amazed. That's why I buy a lot of RCBS equipment!!!

I bought a 300 wsm RCBS die set. I sized the first case and it scratched it. I thought it must be dirty so I stripped it down to clean it. I could feel a bur inside. I called them up and got a female customer service rep. I started telling her what the problem was when she cut me off and said "that is unacceptable". I said "excuse me". She repeated" Sir, that is unacceptable. Give me your address and we will send you a new one." I asked if she wanted me to send the old one back and she said "no, just throw it away. I got a new one in a couple of days. I would say that is outstanding.

Thanks to this thread I e-mail rcbs about the broken rod in my universal decapping die, and a free replacement is on the way.

I have to say I'm impressed

I just e-mailed rcbs about a chargemaster combo that had the top row of buttons quit working. For me that's an important row of buttons. I'll see what I get for a responce. I'm glad I came accross this thread... tootalloutdoors

I have to throw in my two cents. I agree with what everyone has to say about RCBS customer servive; it is excellent! They have alot of customer loyalty for that reason. Other manufacturers should take a trip to RCBS to learn about customer service.
