RCBS Chargemaster Combo

The quick and dirty to this, I was just gifted one of these that is in VGC and is complete and working properly. After starting it up and running a number of test drops and verifying those drops on a beam scale I fully trust I seem to believe my old standby way of doing it is much faster, consistent and repeatable.

So should I decide not to use this, what is it realistically worth. I can think of a number of other tools that would be much more useful.

I put mine on battery power. Works much better now that it is isolated from the dirty harmonics in my home power. I also have a plastic insert in the tube end.

With your trusted scale comparison you should learn good CM finish -vs- suspect results.
Once you know this and with a little fiddling, your results and confidence will improve.
Then you can find use for time previously consumed with trickling (like bullet seating).

There isn't a lot better than what you get good with, so it's just a matter of convenience.
Somebody out there can turn necks by hand as good as I can with a case lathe.
Seems less effort for me though.
