RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 v. Lyman DPS III

Just wondering how the two compare.. I know that there was a comparison done on the site.. but it was against the DPS II.

I have both and can say rcbs is the better of the two. For dispensing powder the dps is a little faster than the rcbs, but the scale on rcbs is alot better. It seems to hold it calibration better, it does not drift like the dps. On the dps if I set it to dispense 29.5 grains of varget It may show 29.5 on the scale but take the powder pan off and set it back on and it may read 1 to 3 tenth higher or lower. It seems to need recalibrated after 30 rounds do to drifting. I have about 300 rounds through the rcbs and never had to recalibrate except on start up. I normally load about 80 rounds a session. I am going to send the dps back to be repaired and sell it. Hope this can help you alittle.
