RCBS Case Prep to ANNEAL Brass?

Watched a guy do it today. He just left the primer pocket uniformer on, took the other tools off, slipped on a thin board with a hole for just that one tool to turn inside (heat protector), set a torch on some blocks, positioned and went at it.

Simple.

I marked one case and noted it turns about 2X a second. After 5 seconds he just picks it up in the fingers of his outdoor grill glove, drops it in a pan and sets another on on the spinning primer tool.

It seems to work fine. Just remember to count the seconds.

Innovative. What do you think?

Assuming you initially establish a flame length as a baseline, unless it's a plumbers torch with a regulator, the torch will not be at a constant pressure, therefore the heat output ( flame size and shape) decreases over time. Timing in this way will not yield consistent results. You have to monitor the color transition as it moves up just past the neck. Another factor is directing the tip of the flame at the exact same spot on each piece of brass.
