RBLP prone?

I am looking at purchasing a right bolt left port rifle for shooting off a bi-pod and thought this would be a good forum to ask this question in....

I am right handed and have only used RBRP actions before,I leave my left arm stationary) and was wondering what experience people have had with RBLP actions and shooting off a bi-pod. Is it awkward to use the left hand to load, etc? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it will determine if I go RBLP or stick with RBRP.

Thanks,
JR

I thought I would like it till I tried it...for a magfeeder it may be a good option, but single shot, I HATE having to take my left hand off the bean bag to reload...if you use a bunny-ear bag that doesn't require squeezing to keep you at the correct POA, then go for it.

JB, STOP squeezing the bag man:D:p. You need to get yourself a joystick:D and forget about the rear bag. BTW, I don't know about shooting prone, real shooters don't need to get dirty:p), but I like the convenience of a left port.

For shooting off a bipod, you don't want a left port. You'd either wind up moving your left elbow around all the time or you'd have to get your position just right so that you could reach your ammo and left it up to the port each time. If you're moving your elbow around, you aren't going to have good repeatability.

tightneck - I only squeeze my bag in the prone position...uh, yea.

Via BR, nothing gets squeezed - RBLP all the way.
