Rattlesnake Ranch Wildlife Club 2024 IBS 600-Yard Shoots:
February 17 & 18th
March 23 & 24th

Our January matches (28 shooters) were allot of fun and as always we had some outstanding grub. I believe they were the coldest, windiest days we’ve had this winter so far but it was very comfortable at our facilities. We have a large, enclosed area that can be used for rifle cleaning and getting out of the weather to warm up nicely in the heat between relays. There are indoor bathroom facilities, and plenty of space for parking. We have 20 benches that are covered.

Our range is located at 347 Jenkins Road, Dover, NC (about 5 miles East of Kinston, NC).

Jim Cline will be running the February matches for our club. Jim and Seth Wooten will run the matches in March. If you have any questions or would like to pre-register, you can contact myself, Gene Parrish @252-560-3450 or gparrishrealtor@gmail.com

The cost will be $25 per match (light gun-heavy gun). Lunch will be $15 per person. Pre-registration is encouraged.

We hope to have shooters from all over. We are centrally located between Maine and Florida about 40 miles East of I95. Join us for a few days of competitive shooting against some great shooters!

Registration deadline is 08:30 Saturday morning. If you’re shooting LG & HG it’s 25+25+15=$65/day including the meal.

Come join us. If you’re thinking about it and can’t make up your mind give me a call and I’ll try to talk you into it. Looking forward to a great time and going to school…

It is a 9 am start on Saturday and an 8 am start on Sunday. Registration ends at 8:30 on Saturday and 7:30 on Sunday.

We had a good time today with a great turn out! Some good shooting, great food and fellowship! Looking forward to tomorrow!

We had another good day at Rattlesnake, overcast skies, light winds and some tight groups throughout the day! Derrick spanked us in group in both LG&HG with a PPC! That boy can shoot! Scotty Powell, Darby Beck, Dewey Hancock, Jim Cline, Shannon Harvey and Mark Burns all had top spots on the leaderboards today! This is one heck of a great group of shooters!

Can’t wait until next month. Keep your eyes and ears open for a date change. Maybe a week earlier (March 23&24) due to Easter. We will keep you posted!

Congratulations to all the winners and all that were able to make it. I am sure you had a great time. I am eating crow for supper tonight! I told Derrick Loflin last night a PPC could not hang with a BR or Improved at 600!
I hate I missed the matches, my oldest son’s birthday was this weekend and I have been spending time with him.
