He asked me if i wanted the brass so i said yea. He put them in my range bag and left. All i asked was what caliber and he was gone before i figured out i didnt recognize them. I cant tell if its an elk horn or arabic writing- anybody ever seen any? Theyre nickel plated so i figure theyre american hunting loads.

Winchester made the centerfire, rimfire, handgun and shot shells for Browning. All contained the Browning Buckmark logo. I have a couple of boxes of 12 gauge shot shells from the 1980's. Everything was packaged in black and gold colored boxes.

Those paper plates at 50 yards can be tough. I saw a guy last week with ten boxes of '06. Went through all of them. The turrets on his scope sure got a workout.

A guy like that will be the one to kill the buck of a lifetime. Can't hit a bull in the azz at 50 yds but will somehow kill a giant buck when another guy can shoot through the same bullet hole can't even get a shot. I used to have some 12 gauge rifled slugs back in the 70's that were stamped Browning on the hulls. They were black plastic and high brass and accounted for some deer.

He will to, I have ran deer to guys like that

If you have a Browning rifle, you have to shoot this ammo because it is the only thing that will shoot good in it.
That statement came from my BIL's brother. He owns a Browning of course.

The quality of the headstamp could be an indication of quality control and care taken in the factory. I'd pass on these..
