Range finder

Looking for something that will range a 15" plate at around 1500 yds. Will a Leila 1600B do this consistently or do I have to go to something like the Veryronix Terrapin? Don't care about the ballistic solutions as I use a Kestrel 4500 AB. JVON

I have a Terrapin and i know this will do it. Have ranged a lot farther than that. I had a Swarovski and most of the time it would range that far. Don't know about the Leica 1600. My buddies went out west for antelope and had trouble getting correct readings On long flat shots. Seemed they would pick up sage and other things. That was a Swarovski. From my experience with the Terrapin i haven't had that trouble.
