range cart?

How many if you f/tr guys use a range cart? If you do use one what do you use? I was thinking of repurposing a jogging stroller.

Thanks

I built mine. Something like what the cowboy action shooters use. One cart for everything. But it is on the heavy side and takes up some storage space.

The only issue I had with the stroller was no place to sit for scoring or just sitting if it was e target match. The chair would be another thing to bring. And to forget.

if you are hauling gear up and down the range from 700 to 900 meters and left and right a few hundred meters, you will appreciate a 4 wheel collapsible cart like Midway sells. you can also get a similar cart at Walmart. the wheeled Husky Box is ok for very short movement over fairly even ground, but is a bitch at places like Connaught in Canada. i found this out the hard way when i showed up there with a Husky Box and ended up having to go to the local walmart to buy the collapsible cart

Heavy but manageable I drive a suv so I just tilt the cart so the handle lays on the bed, lift by the wheels and push in. I am 69 years old and manage with no problems. It is well worth it having everything ready to go on range day.

th

Collapsable beach wagon; folds small enough fit the trunk, or back seat of a compact car.

I might look into something similar as i like the built in seat but i need someway to attach my rifle and possibly an umbrella. Maybe a full size round tube hand truck and some Kolpin atv racks.

Look at the photo of the back of the cart, there is a shelf on the bottom between the wheels. A rifle in a case sits on that shelf (butt down) and the barrel goes behind the handle and there is a strap fastend to the cart cross bar to stop the rifle moving around. The rifle can only be put on the cart when the cart is out of the car.

These in my opinion are a good idea.. I picked up my bag and hurt my shoulder last week...it's easy over 50 pounds....my fault for leaving ammo for .22 , .223 .00 buck etc so I don't forget anything...
