ramshot x-terminator in .204 ruger with 32 grain bullets?

just today tried this combo, along with cci 450 and although i did manage a possible node in the ladder, es was wild. how has this powder worked for others?

testing is not nearly complete, but i was hoping to get some better results that spill over to .222 and 20p. but ya' know... it is $30/lb?

I use it in the 20P with 32gr Nosler HPs in one rifle and with 40gr NBTs in another for coyote hunting and under 52gr Speer HPs in the 222 Rem for coyotes. Kills them dead. Can't ask any more than that from it. I buy 8 lbs of it at a.time only mine is labeled 2230.

I'd check with Hodgdon. There was a time when xterm and 2230 were the same but now Hodgdon has xterm should as made in belgium which it is but 2230 made in USA but used to be made in Belgium.

i was not aware of this equivalence, but poked around some after it was mentioned above and found exact same data for the two on the western powders reloading guide. but post hodgdon... don't know.

I talked to Western a number of years ago and was told they were the same and the labels confirmed it but since Hodgdon bought them they are different. I emailed Hodgdon a couple months ago and asked but never got an answer

This might suggest they are the same still.

They seem to still be the same or so close, it does not matter. Let your rifle tell you which one they prefer in grouping.

My lot of 2230 is 2007, my X-Terminator is 2009. 2230 has no country of origin. X-Terminator is made in Belgium.
