I've had a couple people ask and the total weight as supplied for the rain guards, clips and vinyl cover are about 4oz. You could probably save an ounce by using Velcro instead of the clips but in my experience the clips ensure you don't have any issues when it's windy. I've tried Velcro and it's great when it's calm rain but any kind of wind and it can detach and it almost always happens at the worst time.
