rail blank help want one .750 wide at base

My buddy has decided to put a rail on his rifle that originally has 19mm dovetails in it. I was hoping top find one at least as wide as the dovetail just for looks if possible. Midway has a power custom blank that says its .833 wide but it doesnt have any slots in the top. Cutting them in seems tedious!
I hate to admit this but price is a factor here. Any one know of a rail blank with a wide base for not a lot of cash? Thanks

Cutting the slots with a milling machine is pretty easy. Narrowing the part below the rail from .833 to .750 would also be easy. The radius on the bottom has to be made to fit the action. There are aluminum blanks around also. Not sure who makes them.
