R.I.P. Robert

I have recently been informed and saddened that Robert Chombart has passed away. "Robert" on this site.

A true gentleman and an innovative and clever designer/engineer of fullbore rifle actions and associated equipment. Designer of the CG Millennium and other notable designs.

I found Robert to be a wealth of information and always keen to help on technical matters. He had a great sense of humour and was a most honourable man.
My condolences to his family.
R.I.P. Robert. The shooting community is poorer for your passing.
