Quigley Shoot

What a great idea. Didn't know anything about the shoot other than love that Movie. What size Bucket is going to be used... sorry, bit of a joke.

Had to go look for the Web Site and spent the time reading all the info and results over the years.

Well done to all.

Would love a Sharp's ... I am in orr of a guy in New Zealand that built one from scratch. Wish I could find the Forum and the Link to that build.

EDIT... Here is the link. Hope it works for a visitor to the site, if not it's free to join and no rubbish comes with membership.
It's a long, long thread BUT .... build the whole thing with a Lathe.... Had me interested from day one yet alone the final product and target.... Well Done.

This vintage will definitely be my next rifle purchase, a combination of art and function. Last year got my first 45-70 (Marlin) which is very interesting itself. Very cool rifles to load and shoot; watched a few YouTube 1000yd shoots using open sights and shooting sticks to hammer the steel. Guess I'm talking myself into buying sooner than later.
