Quickload users?

I am considering purchasing the Quickload software. My question to those of you that have it is:

1) Can you install it on multiple computers, ie: a desktop and also a laptop?

2) Do they mail you a disc or is it a direct download from their website?

Once you have the media, you pretty much have all you need to install it anywhere you wish.

Despite the complete lack of any kind of licensing key arrangement, they don't do any sort of download - they send a physical CD. Not sure if they realize that a growing number of new computers don't even *have* CD drives any more...

I use dropbox to house my Quickload data folders. That way you can use multiple computers and everything is always synced. By the way, it will run on a Mac with Wine.

Hmm...I was not aware that I could load the software one more than one computer. I just assumes it was 'key' protected. There are two other PC's I would desire to load it on other than my laptop...good to know.

So...the only thing keeping the program from being pirated is the users honesty in not giving out copies AND the key...am I correct?

1) Can you install in on multiple computers, yes. But if you read the license when you install it and you have to agree to it, it limits you to install it on only 1 machine.

2) You have to install it with the disc they will mail you.

When I reinstalled it after upgrading to windows 10, you had to go into the task manager and stop the process or it would uninstall it. I don't know if this quirk has been corrected or not by now. It also didn't install the shortcuts on your desktop.

My version purchased 1/2016 installed on a Windows 10 laptop just fine/ shortcut icon on desktop so it must have been fixed Jepp.

If it is not broke...don't fix it. I would have preferred to stay with a prior version personally.
