Quick ? on Ruger M77 action wrench/barrel removal

I have the Brownells Action wrench but I currently only have the Win 70 head. Brownells says the M77 takes their Universal head. Does the V side fit the M77 action sides? Or do you use the flat side?
If you use the flat side can I just use my current. M70 insert turned over? A shooting buddy wants me to screw him on a different barrel, check headspace of course. I don't have this rifle in hand yet
Any issues with older M77 barrel removal? Like needing to cut a relief or big threat of twisting the action ect?
Thanks much.

Does it have the extractor cut on the barrel? Thats going to be the biggest issue. 100% impossible for headspace, extractor timing and bolt nose clearance to line up- Like a snake eating its tail. The action wrench just exchange parts until you can tighten it solidly. I think a winchester wrench fits pretty good if i remember right. May have to mill out some areas for the lug

My 7mm Rem Mag M77 tang safety did not have an extractor cut in the barrel when I removed it so I didn't put one in when I rebarrelled it. I used a large crescent wrench and thick brass shim stock to remove the action from the barrel.
