Quick Load, What gives?

I bought my original full program in 2009 and have installed several updates including the latest one dated 1/16. There is no new data in either bullets or powders that I can see. Am I doing something wrong on the updates, or is this a way for QL to get you to buy new full versions?
Thanks for any helps,

Lloyd

Their Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired as like you as a long time customer, I tried to contact them about a damaged disk and never got a reply. Good Luck.

I bought my last update about Jan 2016 . I was working with a 260 rem and my copy had Hornady ELDX bullets .264 / 143 gr . I still don't have any of the new IMR powders . quickload seems slow on them .

The list they use is what the powder manufacturing listed as burn rate and volume . You must change your default setting . Larry

I have no powders listed after the original install. What am I doing wrong? I get a successful install window after the installation.

If you have installed the latest version of Windows 10, then QL may not work 100%
I specifically did NOT update my laptop at home to the latest Windows version, so that QL would remain fully functional. I've also updated to QL v.3.6 without issue. But I believe there is a never version, still?

Just a guess, but maybe its the new Windows that's preventing you from completing the upload???

Contacted Ed at NECO. We spent over 30 min. doing a complete uninstall, re-install of my original disc after doing several diagnostic tests. All went as it should but my update would say install, but no new data. Have a 2nd disc coming as I type.

Great guy isn't he . Larry

Would be nice if he would "join" our membership like many other retailers do and clarify questions on his product ( used by a large segment of us I would venture) to avoid any controversy. I believe my original problem with QL came when I up graded to Windows 10 on my wife's laptop. When I tried to re-install QL I discovered an update disk was damaged. I sent an email inquiring if it was necessary to re purchase the entire program with updates and did not receive a reply.

As a point of reference, I just bought and installed Quickload v3.9. I am new with it, but it seems to work OK. I struggled with having to log in as "Administrator", but that is another issue, and I could not delete the "demo" version that was there from a year ago (uninstall program failed). Ed of Neconos said to just delete files, but for some inexplicable reason, the files will not delete. There is no content, but the folder is still there. ??? Oh well, the program seems to work OK.

It would be nice if NECONOS said what was on the updates. I am not aware of any new powders or bullets since I bought V3.5. Tried to look up the BTU rating for AR Comp this morning for a friend, but it wasn't there. No data on a Hornady 7mm 162 gr. BTHP-M bullet, even though both have been out for several years.
OK, rant off for now. :(
