Thank you for your help!!

Anytime.

You can always PM me for QL data. If I don't respond that means I'm away from home, but I'll respond somehow.

You had the range pretty good between 6 and 7 gr of Unique. QL predicted 6.7 gr

Hi again Zero333!
For some reason I cannot PM you. Can you please run a quick load model for a 30-06 spg. with the ACME 245 grain cast bullet. Bullet length is 1.340". Not sure yet what the overall cartridge length would be but I can get that information later on if it makes that much of a difference. Powder would be around 9-12 grains of Alliant Unique. Thanks again for all the help!!

What speed are you looking for ???

I ask because these bullets are meant for sub-sonic duty.
So in the 30'06, I can only assume there is a speed where you might not want to exceed.

I know they have a baked on coating,.. I just don't have any experience shooting these types of bullets faster than 1,400 fps.

I absolutely agree with your speed recommendations. I’m figuring the 9 grain load will yield roughly 1200 fps. Not looking for any particular velo, just accuracy. The OAL is 3.2” loaded. Should make a nice plinking load. I’m loading these in the 300bo with 7 grains with good results so naturally I’d like to tinker some more ;) thanks!

For best accuracy I would either shoot subsonic or at 1,400 fps at the muzzle, because when the bullet gets between 1,300 and 1,100 fps on the way to the target it becomes a little more erratic and out of balance.

So I'll give you data for around 1,060 fps and another set for around 1,400 fps...
