Quick Load & 22-250

Have a friend that I found out is loading 37.8 of W748 with Fed 210M primers in his M700, 22-250. This is with 50 gr. Nosler Ballistic tips. If someone could do me a big favor and plug this into QL I can show him the kind of dangerous pressures he is running. Stock chamber, 1400' msl, 65F, 26" varmint contour. The pressures gotta be red-line or higher! Thanks in advance, Eric in DL

I don't have quick load, but I don't see a problem with that load. Hodgdon has loads with faster burning powders with the same amount of powder.

QL says 65k PSI, right at max. Hot, but not necessarily blow your face up hot. Actual burn rate of the powder, OAL, and case capacity could push it in either direction by a fair bit so use the predicted velocities as a reference to see where he's potentially at.
