Question

I have a 6X24 Bausch Lomb scope. It has caps over the adjustments. Can it be converted to turrets. I think this scope is the same as the 3200 Bushnell.

Call the manufacture and see if they offer an upgrade on it. So scope manufactures will take the scope back and update it for a fee.

Bausch Lomb doesn't make rifle scopes any more. I've seen after market turrets that screw over the adjustments. They have a screw driver bit that engages the notch on the scope adjustments. I don't know where I saw them.

Thanks Hillbilly.

A search of their Data base turned up a now expired Bushnell link,
,so it may be that Bushnell made the Baush+Lomb scopes ?

Maybe contact Bushnell or Bushnell's service dept for any details.

Try the stoney point line of turrets Midway has them on sale for the luppy scopes I believe ther 25 bucks

After close expection I found out my scope doesn't have the screw driver slots in the adjustments buttons. So the stoney point won't work. I guess I will go with it the way it is. Thanks guys.

MArtin S,

The scope is a BL4000/4200 if it is the 6-24X and I have had two for at least 10-12 yrs, great optics for the money.

However, I went looking for different turrets like you, went so far as to speak with B&L tech reps. And no, they did not make replacement turrets for that specific model. They did at one time make a small run of replacement turrets for several other models, I believe select models in the 3200 series.

And unfortunatly I dont believe Stoney point ever made one for that specific scope either.

Good luck in your quest.

Is it made in Japan? If so it should have been built by a company called Light Optical Works (LOW). They made the B&L Elite scopes before Bushnell bought the company, and continued the product on to some degree as the Bushnell Elite. The story goes that Weaver, Bushnell Elite, Clearidge, Nitrex, and others are made by LOW. Components for the Leupold and Nightforce may also be made by LOW. So, you could try those other names, but you may get blank stares.

About halfway down they have listed a bunch of scopes. Didnt Bushnell take over the B&L line? You might be able to find one that fits your scopes. I bet they can help you figure out how to change the turrets out too.

UPDATE
I e-mailed Bushnell and this there answer.

I apologize but currently we are not doing post production modification of the turrets. I again apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you have a wonderful day.
