Question: Sako 6 PPC

I'm looking to buy a Sako 75 III chambered in 6 PPC and curious if anyone can tell me the factory rate of twist these rifles have. I seem to remember they have 14 twist and therefore can't stabilize anything over a 70 gr bullet. Any info. would be appreciated. Rick

One I once had was 1:14" and did its' best with 65-68gr. In particular, Fowler 66gr. Never shot Varmint/game type bullets quite as well as target-style.

I had a Sako 75 laminated that was a 14 twist and it grouped 68 -70 grain well. The gun was traded but if you get one, I have a Jard trigger for a 75 that I will sell.
