Looks like a bad connection on a circuit board or a wire???

I'm assuming you've completely unplugged the scale? Interesting as to how another digit shows up.
Haven't seen anything such as that with mine.

Easy big boy, stuff happens. This is how we learn some things.

It's a milligram scale so that should be a valid digit. I'll have to check mine. I'd check with the manufacturer.

I put the same weight as you had on mine and no box. I would say something is ailing yours.
