Question on stock painting

I have a Interarms Mark X that sits in a Bell and Carlson Carbelite stock.
It has a nasty do-it-yourself "camo" paint job.

I was wondering if there are any threads or forums that you can point me towards on repainting stocks.

I want something that will last so I am leaning towards a cerakote or duracoat.

Is there a good process for getting the "splatter" look of the HS Precision?

Thanks in advance

All you really need to do is rough up the existing finish and have right at it with the paint of your choice.. Take a extra tip and push some of the plastic back into the hole where the paint comes out of and it will make a kind of splatter look.. Lots of little pushes on the top instead of steady pressure will help a lot....
Show photo's when your finished with it...

You can also use Rust-Oleum textured finish, it comes in different colors, i like the desert bisque, like a desert tan, and clear over it with a matte clear, i but mine at Lowes. ed

Zolatone works very well for stock finishing as well and it is tough as nails. Make sure you use a good epoxy primer and spray your Zolatone with a 2mm tip.
