Question on RL25 powder

Has anyone seen any big changes in burn rate on this lately? I just picked up a 5# jug from my local gun shop dated 2010. I had been using an older lot with good success. Haven't shot any of the new stuff but noticed on alliants website the data has been really mellowed down.....guess I'm wondering if they've changed the powder and I might have bought into a whole new animal.

I think all of the reloading data sources have become more conservative of late for liability reasons. Hogdgon seems to be pretty much right on with theirs, the last Nosler manual I have shows true maximums.
I use Re25 infrequently so I can not comment upon new stocks but it is easy enough to check.
Load three rounds of your old load minus 1 grain. Do the same with the new stock (unless you are returning it) and compare velocities. I'll bet they are similar and I would bet they have not changed the powder at all.
Layne Simpson stopped recommending Re25 in his STW cartridges because or erratic results with that powder but I always had pretty good luck.
