Question on Pheonix Precision sights

I recently came into position of the sight. I'm building an ar15 for iron sights compitition. Is there instructions on how to use the sight? Also, how do you secure the rear sight to rail? The sights missing the .750 barrel base for the front sight. Any idea where I can purchase it since phoenix precision no longer carries the sights? Thanks. 1000004937.jpg

The rear sight you have in the picture, has 'service rifle' directions, meaning that a clockwise twist of the dials will move the point of impact either 'up' or 'right', depending upon which dial is being used.

It *should* attach to a picatinny rail on a flat top AR / Match rifle.

The front sight stem you have may be another issue entirely - it is incomplete without the barrel band. You have a few options here:

1. Replace it with a currently made version (Centra, Riles, etc.)

2. Wait for another one to popup for sale here or on the palma boards or Target Talk

3. Contact another sight making company and plead your case, to see if they'll make you a replacement barrel band.

4. Sell the stem you have, and opt for a front sight base mounted sight.

ETA: The rear sights are very well made units - I have one in the Redfield mount style, and in 'match rifle' directions. It is one of my better made rear sights.

How would option 4 look like? Thank you.
