QUESTION ON GO PRO

Does go pro make a camera that send signal directly to your phone?
Thinking stupid Why couldn't some one take a go pro camera and put a phone near it and use another phone to see it ? using the cell phone tower?
Camera is $300.00 with a buddy phone looks like to me a go pro camera would be better then any cameras system. Larry

The GoPro is a delightful little toy. Great for capturing video when skydiving, but absolutely worthless for quality results. They use a very small sensor, and cheap lens.

I'm not certain, but believe the streaming would have to take place via WiFi.

Wi FI would send to the phone near the camera the phone where you are at should be able to receive by phone connection. Reverence like face time Larry

I think you can only use the phones camera to stream out like facetime. I dont think you could take video from an app and send it out live on cellular

You have nothing to lose by trying it. Unless GoPro has changed something, it is compatible with the iOS operating system only. Either an iPhone, or iPad. You would nevertheless need a WiFi connection.

Larry -

My Inputs:
For reviewing a target (after being shot), a small screen should be fine and could be zoomed in to find the bullet holes.
For viewing a target live (while shooting), the bigger the screen the better and I can't imagine trying to do it on a small cell screen.

Another aspect for reviewing; is recording the groups, and playing them back later/after the fact.
With my live system, I have used 11, 15, 17, and 22" screens , and bigger is better notably.

I like my bullseye camera- being able to see my last shot blink, review anytime i want, zoom in from my phone, ipad or laptop. I could hook my ipad up to a 60" screen if i wanted but i can see my shots just fine from my iphone6 so i dont even carry anything extra anymore

^^^^^ I agree..... with a "scoring programmed" system that marks the shots, screen size is far less important.

The bullseye camera system I have with all the high gain accessories some times don't work at 1000. because of the narrow window of the range . Larry

GO pro to smart phone smart phone to tower . tower to phone receiving real time

Skip the GoPro: "smart phone" camera on video <> to tower <> to receiving phone

But like I said above, can't imagine trying to pick out bullet holes on that small of a screen without a scoring/marking program.

You would have to go through a computer of some type, via WiFi, or a receiver. Either way would be a considerable expense. The GoPro has WiFi capability. Have you looked at the Sony AVS 100V? Less money, and has image stabilization.
